Aqua Terra Bistro
Aqua Terra Bistro occupies an early-20th-century storefront on Buford's historic Main Street, the old leather-and-rail district that gave the town its "Leather City" nickname, and today serves fine-dining steaks and seafood from the renovated space. Long before the white tablecloths, the building passed through generations of downtown commerce, and staff say something from those years never left. Servers and line cooks have reported coffee mugs and wine bottles sliding or flying off shelves, glasses pushed from the bar, and unexplained voices drifting through the empty dining room. One cook described an apparition of a woman in a dress crossing the kitchen before vanishing, and paranormal investigators who have visited over the years claim to have captured EVP recordings on site. Whether trick of an old building or something lingering, the stories have followed the address for decades.
