Forsyth Park

Savannah's grand central park, with its famous white fountain, was laid out over former military parade grounds and sits beside the old fever hospital. After dark, joggers and visitors describe cold spots near the fountain, the figures of Confederate soldiers drifting across the lawns, and footsteps that follow them along the tree-lined paths.
