Gribble House Paranormal

In 1909, the Gribble House was the scene of one of Savannah's most gruesome crimes, a triple axe murder that horrified the city and drew national attention, reported in newspapers as far away as New York and Los Angeles. The original house is long gone, swept away as this corner of Savannah shifted from modest dwellings to the brick warehouses and industrial yards that still hem the site today.

Yet the ground itself seems to have kept the memory. The surrounding warehouse district became one of the South's most active ghost-hunting grounds, a fixture on the city's paranormal investigation circuit.

Visitors there report disembodied voices, flashlights that flicker on to answer questions, and the heavy, watched sense of a presence that does not want company. The exact location marked here is approximate.
